How to reach Saltillo:
From abroad, there are two main airports that connect to the Saltillo airport (Plan de Guadalupe International Airport, SLW):
- from Houston (George Bush Intercontinental Airport, IAH)
- from Mexico City (Benito Juárez International Airport, MEX)
Also, you can arrive at Monterrey (Mariano Escobedo International Airport, MTY) and take a bus directly from the airport terminal to Saltillo City. Buses are managed by Grupo Senda and run every hour and a half, starting at 9 am and ending at 11 pm. It takes 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach Saltillo. Monterrey airport is one of the most connected airports in the north of Mexico, specially with fligths from the USA.
If you travel from inside Mexico, a good idea is also travel to Monterrey and then take the bus to Saltillo directly from the airport terminal, or take a flight from Mexico City straight to Saltillo. Buses run from other cities, but distances may be too long. Thus, the recommended way is to fly either to Monterrey or Saltillo.
The workshop will be held in the Auditorio Talamás of the Universidad Autonoma de Coahuila (Campo Redondo), Saltillo.
