Submissions, Publication and Presentations

The NEO 2020 will accept two modalities for submissions.

Abstract Submissions

Extended abstracts can be submitted by Easy Chair Neo 2020, these will be reviewed by the organizing committee and accepted abstracts will be published in the book of abstracts, and authors are invited to make a 20 minute presentation at this years event. The latest submission date is August 20, 2020, but authors are encouraged to do so earlier. Submissions can be done via the EasyChair system. See here for further details:

Special Issue Submissions

As part of the NEO Workshop series, the NEO offers a special issue in the journal Mathematical and Computational Applications (MCA) since 2018. Extended and other works that are related to NEOs scope are welcome to the SI, and the article processing fee (APC) will be waived for such submissions.

Note that on top, the registration fees for authors of paper published in the SI will be dropped if the paper is submitted before October 01, 2020.

Registration Fee

The fee for the NEO 2020 online event is as follows:

- before Oct 01, 2020: 1,000 MXN
- Oct 01 and later: 1,500 MXN

If a "factura" is needed, 16 percent will be added to the amount for taxes.

 

Important Dates

August 20 September 04: deadline for abstract submissions.
August 30 September 10: notification of acceptance.

October 01: deadline for submissions for the special issue that qualifies for a reduction of the registration fee (the special issue is already open for submissions, and once papers are accepted they will immediately be published online).

Before October 1: deadline for early registration.

November 18 - 19: NEO 2020.
February 28, 2021: Deadline for submissions to the special issue of the NEO 2020 in MCA.
